Orientation

ACers : Serah, Lily, Carys,  Me and Ali.

Last weekend the UWC National Committee of Great Britain organised an orientation weekend for the British students attending UWCs this year. We had talks on the IB programme and also our responsibilities as UWC students. The whole weekend was full of lots of fun. The ice-breaker games were hilarious! I’ve made so many new friends. The parents enjoyed it just as much as the students. I am now even more excited than before (if that was possible!). 3 weeks, 2 days and counting.......!!!

Atlantic College

Following a selection process and interview I was offered a place at the United World College of the Atlantic. UWC is an international educational movement which has 13 colleges around the world. UWC  teaches the importance of peace and sustainability in the world today. The British UWC is Atlantic College in South Wales. I will be studying the International Baccalaureate at AC for the next two years. I am so excited that I have found a school and an organisation that believes in the same values as me!  As a way of keeping my friends and family up to date I will be keeping this blog of my life at AC. I hope you enjoy reading it and please help to spread the word about the amazing work of UWC...
